IUL Rate Change Effective 9/22/16
Caps and Participation rates on our Indexed Universal Life products are changing effective September 22, 2016. We will continue to maintain our current caps in the S&P 500 Cap Focus for all products, excluding SecurePlus Provider and Ultra EIUL, with no reduction in illustration rates for that strategy. We will begin illustrating the new rates on September 12, 2016.

The competitive position of our rates, which is constantly monitored, is unchanged because most of our important competitors have lowered their rates by similar amounts, or more, in the past few months. 

Our products remain competitive in the marketplace, even with the new changes in cap, participation rates and maximum illustrated rates. Our competitors have faced the same pressures, as the past six months have seen industry wide reductions in cap, participation and fixed rates.
